The
rebrand focuses on ideas that NIDA brings to life through their training, storytelling,
and performances. Drama, expression, lighting and exaggeration were concepts that
influenced my approach to developing a fresh & professional look.
Focusing on the idea of a curtain, the new dynamic logos feature an organic shape that is designed to illustrate a curtain. The colours evoke a sense of drama, emotion and mystery which is ever present throughout NIDA’s practice. The Theatre features a tall, upright curtain to represent the actors being developed professionals. The school features an open facing curtain to represent the growing, learning and developing their students experience.
The design of their 2023 season booklet focuses on and emulates the major themes that are explored throughout their plays.
